I got the power!

As the NFL goes into week 6 there are two teams that have shocked everyone. The reason we love the NFL is because we analyze all off-season, and speculate how good and bad a team will be. Well, after week one that can all go away.

Going into the season, the Denver Broncos were supposed to be at the bottom looking up. People were saying the the Chargers had the AFC West locked up. Wait the Broncos did fire a future Hall of Fame and Super Bowl champion coach. Then there was that little thing when they traded away a Pro-Bowl caliber quarterback for KYLE ORTON. Combined with the third worst defense in the league some would say they are moving into a rebuilding year. Now after the immaculate deflection, and Brandon Marshall catching and running with ease, the Broncos are 5-0... WHAT? O and Kyle Orton has a 97.4 passer rating, better than his predecessor Jay Cutler 89.3. They also have the best defense in the NFL, allowing only 7 points in the second half all year. The Broncos have just beat the Cowboys and the Patriots, if they can find a way to win in San Diego they will be playing for home field advantage.

The next team that has surprised everyone are the Tennessee Titans. This is supposed to be a Super Bowl caliber team. A team with a two head monster running game in Chris Johnson and LenDale White. They had the 2nd best defense in the league last year, and Kerry Collins was looking like a 38 year old vet in his prime. This year they are horrible! Turning the ball over, they can't find the endzone, and Collins is looking like the almost 37 year old man he is... Sorry Titans fans it's gonna be a long winter.

  2. Gotta agree with you here, Ryan. I would have lost a whole lot of money this season if I were a bettin' man. The Cowboys, on the other hand, are just as predictable as always.
